Stitchers Angel 2009

I have just finished sending an email to my special Angel.
I was making my goodies or Agnes in France.
As I told you before I have just busier than I expected this last 6 months at school. I have taken on a new role in my school as an Active After School Co-ordinator....so not many lunchtimes and after school are free for me to just chill. I run A.A.S form 3.30 - 4.30 2 nights a week. So I hear you saying what does she do with her time..... I work 5 days Full time 8.30am till 4.30pm (2nights). I have a Library to organise....covering books, cataloguing and tidying shelves, amazes me how someone can take a book of a shelf but can't replace from where they got it.... :(
I also have 3 teachers that I work with at school so odd jobs are one to help make there day easier. I have yard duty 3 days.....Phew life at school is certainly busy.... I love my job :)
When I get home the day begins again with everyday jobs for the house.
As you all know I am on a Health kick and can proudly say that since I started this journey I have lost well over 20kg...not all was with the help of WW, I am still walking/running and now bike riding so who knows look out Olympics 2020..LOL
Ok I have misplaced the camera as well as the scan card so am unable to post pics at this time what Agnes will receive. found the pics had already saved em to the laptop......Getting a new computer shortly..

I have had a ball again participating in this swap.
Well I can hear my bed calling me.. hope this finds all my regular readers well

I'm taking a short break from Blogging

To my regular visitors....I am taking a short break from the Blogging World.
I have family, personal and household responsibilities...so for this reason I am unable to commit to a regular update on this blog.
I am one busy mum, wife and worker, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and say enough is enough and no use burning the candle at several ends and getting burnout.
Term 4 is the busiest at school.
I am still making gifts for my Secret Angel in France.
I will be back in several weeks....so goodbye for a short while

Angel Project...lack of contact:(

Angel Project, well its been a few weeks since Helen started this wonderful event again....
Now here's the twist.
When to vent out on your blog...I am not a happy camper at the moment.
If I an take the time and effort to make things for my lovely lady, why is it that some people sign up for these things knowing the rules and don't abide by them. A simple email will suffice.
Has anyone else out there not heard from there Angel.
I am wondering whether I should take part in this next year leaves a bit of a sour taste....
I know that all you other ladies out ther are doing your best and trying to finish all your gifts to send in time for your Angel.
My Angel that I am making from lives in .........France.
Well sorry to not have had a happier post this week :(
Have fun stitching and sewing for your Angel.
Update on Abbey everything is fine got the all clear from the Drs still not sure what the Go is with the headaches.

Ben's Birthday and some sewing at last..

Today I have been a busy little beaver in the kitchen...actually whipping up a feast for the family for tea tonight. Ben the youngest in the family officially turns 15 tomorrow. Seems like only yesterday that he was at Kinder and then School. He is in year 9 at the local Technical school, not sure what he wont's to do in life but I am sure he will figure that out soon.
So today I started with the SPONGE yes a huge 'Clarke' size sponge enough to feed a rather large family.

I made Devilled Sausages, Puffy Dogs, Scalloped Potatoes and finally what Ben wanted Lasagna. We had an early Birthday Tea as my eldest is playing footy tomorrow Elimination Final and then he goes back to Ballarat, where he is studying teaching. DH is on Night shift and Ben's' mate is going overseas so the only time for the Tea was tonight. I can say that all was received well and not much leftover for reheats the next day. Dare say that when I awake tomorrow the mice will have been in the fridge and taken some more leftover cake.

I have been hand stitching on a quilt that I am presently making can't show any pics of the finished item but will as soon as it is finished.

I hope to continue with my Secret Angel project. I have made contact with my Secret Angel and can tell you that she is from overseas. The projects that have been showcased so far are just yummy..Thanks Helen and ladies can't wait till open the laptop on Monday and see what new project awaits to be made........

Computers I can tell you that I am very happy that I have a laptop...why because the computer I have is totally slow and getter slower. I am in the midst of pricing new one and saving all my files onto an external hard drive.

DD went to the Dr's and we are now off to have a MRI. Dr was at a loss so hence the MRI was ordered. Going to Geelong on Friday 4th Sept.

OK hope that has caught you all up to date as to what has been happening in my corner of the world.
